Reginald McIntyre, DVM:

He is a Missouri native who grew up on a farm, not far down Highway 160, in Lockwood.

Dr. McIntyre graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 2000. He graduated as the Senior Class President and earned multiple honors during his studies including: Who’s Who Among College Students, The National Dean’s List, Dr. Newton B. Tennille award for the ability to be resourceful in finding solutions to problems & the American Animal Hospital Association Senior Student Award for outstanding clinical proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery.

Dr. McIntyre is a veterinarian with 21 years of experience in both General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care. He has worked as a General practitioner for 12 years and an Emergency & Critical Care Clinician for 9 years. He has a wealth of knowledge learning various techniques, and surgical skills during that time. Dr. McIntyre loves the Willard area and the people he has met and has made Willard Veterinary Hospital his permanent home.

He is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association & Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.

Reginald and his wife Shelly have been married 24 years and have two beautiful daughters. They have a menagerie of pets including a dog named Rue, a cat named Twinkle Rose, a cockatiel named Prince Charming.
